Our Story
For over 19 years, A.K. Packaging has been a leading provider in the custom paper packaging manufacturing industry, based in Gampaha, Sri Lanka. Over the years, our expertise in custom paper packaging has strengthened significantly as we have continued to grow and evolve. Today, A.K. Packaging is the trusted partner of choice for clients across the island, offering comprehensive, end-to-end services from design and production to final delivery.
Established in 2007 with a single team member, A.K. Packaging has grown substantially and now employs over 50 direct and indirect team members. Our fully owned manufacturing facility in Gampaha specializes in producing a diverse range of paper products, including paper bags, boxes, and non-woven bags, primarily serving hotels and hospitality establishments across the island.
A.K. Packaging is a financially stable organization supported by a strong freehold asset base and solid reserves. This firm foundation has enabled us to sustain and effectively manage our operations, ensuring continuous growth and uninterrupted supply to our customers, even during the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic crisis from 2020 onwards. Our prudent financial and policy management has allowed us to navigate these challenges with resilience and stability.
